An imagination is not a prerequisite for creative writing. It's a genre in which an author explores the limits of their imagination in a fictitious but credible world.

Speculative fiction transcends boundaries and is often a blend of science fiction, fantasy, magic, adventure, paranormal, horror, and steampunk or anything at all really.

In this day and age, a writer is not constrained by parameters and some even go all the way. A good story takes the reader one step beyond.

Sometimes, it's a whirlwind tour of the horrors of time and space. And sometimes, it's a little closer to home, an excuse to touch base and remember who we are.
